ATARI: GAME OVER |
"Atari: Game Over" I give a 10/10 as it was a phenomenally well done documentary, that told its story well and compellingly. It took a legendary myth that I've known about my whole life and brought it to life with a mixture of facts and hearsay interwoven to reveal the actualities behind what happened. The American story that we hear over and over again is about someone's rise to the top and occasionally we here about their fall, but never do we here about what happened to these people after their 15 minutes were up. I really appreciated how the film explored the lives of the creator of "E.T. the video game" long after 1983. People have their opinions on video games and the over all importance that they have had on our society. Think whatever you want, but it cannot be denied that they have and will continue to have their place. Much like films, they are a part of our present, they are a part of our past and they'll be a part of our future.
