IMPOSTER = C
I've wanted to see this movie for a very long time and I finally got around to watching it. It was pretty much what I expected. Intriguing enough of a premise, with good acting out of Gary Sinese, Vincent D'Onofrio and Mekhi Phifer but it lacked in execution. I appreciated what the film was trying to be and what it was trying to accomplish, but I feel that it failed to do so. It either needed to make a clear and established decision that Spencer was indeed innocent or he was indeed an impostor.
This film as have many films, fell flat with trying to be too clever with its twist. The connection between Spencer and Cale was compelling in thought, but again severely underdeveloped. I'd like to see an unedited full version of this film and all of the scenes that were omitted from the final cut. I can't help but film this film (at least for me personally) could have turned out a lot better through better editing.
