DEALPOOL

DEADPOOL = 4.5/5 B+

Fun, clever and entertaining film. A part written for Ryan Reynolds that he pulled off as well as Jim Varney doing Ernest P Worrell or Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker.

This film had a great sense of writing that pleased both the philosophical and intellectual one who likes to think and the just give me some action mixed with clever, funny lines fellow doesn't like to (think).

Speaking of clever lines, "I'm just a bad guy who gets to $^#@ worse guys" - the one about the tooth fairy and a few others were great.

As a writer, I have great admiration that the Character of Wade Wilson was humanized to us as an audience through his transformation into full bore mutant. Such a use of juxtaposition, bumped this sucker up from a B to a B+ for me.

Stan Lee's cameo, the epic saw it coming and yet doubted it until the trigger was pulled ending, and the kickass score including Juice Newton, Chicago and George Michael all earned major brownie points for this movie lover.

My only complaint was that I was at times lost in exposition. Film could have done a tad bit better at its usage of what was present and what was past.
