This movie was weird. Bad, really bad. Nonsensical on so many levels. I fail to see how this movie was nominated (and received) so many awards. Juliette Lewis was barely in the film and her performance was nothing special. Lackluster, mundane and boring. 

The transitioning of scenes was unique and the film was filmed in a unique way. Would have appreciated it more had the film actually been good.

The movie dragged and dragged and dragged. Realism was continuously compromised for the plot to continue.

Only saving grace for this film was a solid performance out of Nick Nolte and a fun performance out of Robert DeNiro.

Can't decide whose accent was more forced.
