Unbreakable. I'll give it a 6.5/10. Like all M. Night Shyamalan films it did very well in some ways and completely failed to deliver in others. Overall intriguing idea, with great performances out of Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson and Robin Wright. Some of the occurrences throughout the film seemed very unrealistic, yet treated as completely normal. I'd certainly hope that if a child threatened to shoot their father, that most parents would handle it with a little more assertion. It seemed very out of place to me as did some other scenes. Like nearly all Shyamalan films, the biggest problem was that he had a really great idea, but he had no idea how to truly execute it. He's like the guy with the billion dollar idea for a political cartoon, but lacks the artistic ability to draw it. It's a shame because his ideas are there. The man has great vision, it just often seems severely underdeveloped.
