BACK IN TIME: 8/10
This documentary on the history of "Back to the Future" and the effects and affects that has had on society over the past 30 years, was very entertaining. I personally could have used a bit more history and a bit less culture. While I was very thankful to see interviews with James Tolkan, Donald Fullilove, and Claudia Wells (who I didn't even recognize) as well as Christopher Lloyd, I was wanting to see more.
They had Harry Waters Jr on screen, yet never asked him any questions. And they couldn't get Mark McClure or Thomas F Wilson? And why don't they ever mention the late Wendie Jo Sperber? In anything related to "Back to the Future" I've only once heard Michael J Fox out of anyone say anything about her and her contribution to the film.
I also wish, as much as they like to bring up Eric Stoltz that someone would interview him and his feelings all these years later. An interview was done with him about 15-20 years ago regarding the subject and all he said was that in a way he was glad he didn't get the role, because he left the United States and had a great time in Europe for a period of years. Something he says never would have happened had he became the star.
Also, it'd be nice if the bitterness would finally end between all involved and Crispin Glover. Not sure who's the one holding out here and continuing to hold a grudge.
